EMPYREAN: from the Ancient Greek 'Empyrus' – meaning 'in or on the fire' – 'Empyrean' is thought to be the highest realm of heaven, also known as the realm of fire and the dwelling place of Gods. The works in this exhibition will be placed in the context of the 'fire of transformation of the individual' & the 'Coronation of the Soul'. Diadems, breast plates, finials & staves represent the spiritual warrior that resides in each of us – embodying the path of self-mastery and the striving toward
numinous strength and insight.
