SUN & MOON GUARDIANS: These
headdress designs reflect the deep connection I have to ritual & ceremony. For a long time I have been fascinated by the cultural accoutrements of religious ritual, especially the ancient crowns and headwear of Egypt. Such pieces usually speak of high office, nobility, and spiritual aspiration. In this instance the headdresses relates to the planetary spheres of the Sun & the Moon and represent the imaginations or ‘thought forms’ of the wearer.
