THE SACRED GROVE | TE URU TAPU:
this series of ‘tree of life’ paintings have been created as conduits that can be used as meditations and imaginations around the themes of Courage, Protection,
Transformation, Karma, Boundaries, Resurrection, Awakening and Letting-Go. For thousands of years the tree has symbolized universal motifs, such as life, death, fertility and metamorphosis, which underlie and form a contextual foundation for the above mentioned themes.
