Symbolically, these paintings represent the world of the striving human being and embody an enhanced soul state. As we contemplate these works, the soul can become like a colourful garden that we tend to and re-enliven. They seek to release the creative potential of the unconscious mind into an imaginative awakening. They embody the tenets of truth, beauty and goodness – ideals that encapsulate high human endeavour.

ROSES OF THE SOUL EXHIBITION
ROSES OF THE SOUL
CONTEMPORARY IMAGES OF DEVOTION
My exhibition Roses of the Soul has now been shared with the world! From start to finish it has been an incredible experience for me and I am so grateful to all the people who came to visit and for the sincere and heart-felt communications I received.
At the opening someone stood in front of a painting and said ‘when I look at this I feel hope ... if only we could take it back and hang it in the office’ ... and I thought – this is exactly what I was envisioning these works to do – to provide hope and healing in the most mundane of places.
